Indications & Dose:

Diarrhea


BY MOUTH


Susp : To be taken after each loose bowel movement.


Adults: 4-8 tablespoonful to be taken after each loose bowel move-ment. 


Children: 6-12 years, 1 tsf should not be used for more than 2 days.


Infants & Children: Below 2 years, 1 tsp; 2-6 years, 1-2 tablespoonsful; 6-12 years, 2-4 tablespoonsful.

Clindamycin, lincomycin: Reduced antibacterial efficacy of these drugs


Digoxin: 


Reduced bioBrands Available with Cost of digoxin tablets, capsules not affected


Lovastatin: 


Pectin inhibits cholesterol lowering effects of lovastatin


Quinidine: 


Reduced plasma quinidine concentrations
