Indications & Dose:

Treatment of primary varicose veins, secondary varicose veins and post-thrombotic syndrome. Haemorrhoids, prevention of secondary MI. Adjuvant treatment or stripping and scleropathy. Adult 500 to 1000 mg/day (one capsule once or twice a day to be taken with the main meals).Diabetic retinopathy:750-2000mg daily dose for periods of 3 to 12 months improves and stabilises the retinal state. Long-term maintenancedoseof1g/daily.Chronic venous insufficiency:Initial dose for chronic venous insufficiency and other venous conditions is 750-1000mg daily for at least 1 month.


 

Contraindications:

Known hypersensi-tivity tocalcium dobesilate. Childrens


 

Side Effects:

Nausea, diarrhoea, gastric irritation, pruritus, skin rash, drug induced fever.

Cautions:

Precautions:

In  case  of  severe  renalinsufficiency requiring dialysis, the dose should bereduced. In the case of skin rash and fever,treatment should be stopped. Duodenal or pepticulcer, recurrent gastritis. Pregnancy: May be given.Breast-feeding: Use with caution. Old age: Maybe used.
