Major Depressive Episodes:


50mg once daily up to 400mg once daily. In renal impairment with hemodylasis 50mg every other day, in


Hepatic impairment: max 100mg per day


NOTE: Gradually taper dose (by increasing dosing interval if discontinuing.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Liver disease resulting in hepatic impairment, should not be used in combination with fluvoxamine, ciprofloxacin or enoxacine (i.e., potent CYP1 A2 inhibitors) .

 nausea, dry mouth, headache and constipation.
