Indications & Dose:

Acute malaria, resistant to anti malarial drugs, tratment of uncomplicated P. Falciparum, resistance to chloroquin

Contraindications:

Sulphonamide sensitivity, severe. Neonates, pregnancy, lactation. DOSE Adult 1st day 3 large tablets + 2 small tablets, 2nd day 2 small tablets, 3rd day 2 small tablet Children 1-7 years: 1st day 1 large tablets + 1 small tablets, 2nd day 1small tablets, 3rd day 1 small tablet 8-14 years: 1st day 2 large tablets + 2 small tablets, 2nd day 2small tablets, 3rd day 2 small tablet ARTEDOXIN  (Efroze Chemical) Adults: Artesunate 100mg, sulfodoxine 500mg, pyrimethamine 25mg.
