Indications & Dose:

Smooth muscle spasm



Inj: Adults :By i.m. or i.v. 40mg one to three amps daily.



AdultTablet: 1 tab. 3 times daily.


Children :Not recommended


 

Contraindications:

Narrow angle glaucoma, prostatic adenoma with residual urine formation, mechanical stenoses of the gastrointestinal tract, tachyarrhythmias, megacolon, allergy to pyrazolone derivatives, acute intermittent porphyria

Side Effects:

Dryness of the mouth, reduced secretion of sweat glands, redening of skin, difficulties in accommodation, glaucoma attacks (narrow angle glaucoma), tachycardia, micturition difficulties; leucopenia and agranulocytosis (pharyngitis may be the first sign of this latter effect).
