Dexamethasone+ Moxifloxacin

Indications & Dose:

Steroid-response inflammatory and ocular infection . Postoperative inflammation and any other ocular inflammation associated with infection.conditions .

DOSE
Adults: One or two drops instilled into the conjuctival sac every 4-6 hours. During initial 24-48 hours the dose may be increased 1-2 drops every 1-2 hours 

Contraindications:

Epithelial herpes simplex, keratitis, vaccinia, varicella and in many other viral conditions 

Side Effects:

Conjuctival irritation, increased lacrimation, keratitis and papillary canjuctivitis. Secondry infection.

Prolong use of steroids may result in glaucoma with damage to the optic nerve, defects in visual acuity and fields of vision and posterior subcapsular cataract formation
