Indications & Dose:
Ophth: open-angle glauconla, chronic angleclosure glaucoma, acute angleclosure glaucoma (in combination with other agents to decrease lOP before surgery), reversal of mydriasis, pre and postoperative increased IOP; oral: xerostomia from salivary gland hypofuriction secondary to radiotherapy for head and neck cancer
DOSAGE
Adult: Instill frequently 1-2 drops as reqd.
Children: Same dose – Occlude lacrimal sac during instillation to prevent systemic effect.
Contraindications:
Acute iritis, or other condition where acute miosis undesirable.

CNS: Headache
CV: AV block, bradycardia, dysrhythmia, hypertension, hypotension, shock, tachycardia
EENT: Blurred vision, conjunctival irritation. (Ocusert), eye pain with change in focus, retinal detachment. stinging, tearing, twitching of eyelids
GI: Abdominal cramps, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting
GU: Bladder tightness, frequency, urgency
RESP: Bronchospasm
