Indications & Dose:

Adjuvant treatment of operable node-positive breast cancer, in combination with doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide; with doxorubicin for initial chemotherapy of advanced or metastatic breast cancer; alone or with capecitabine for advanced or metastatic breast cancer where cytotoxic chemotherapy with anthracycine or alkylating drug has failed; with trastuzumab for initial chemotherapy of metastatic breast cancer; advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer where first-line chemotherapy has failed; with cisplatin for unresectable, advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer; with prednisolone for hormone-refractory metastatic prostate cancer


DOSE:


Adult. 100mg/square meter by i.v. infusion over 1 hour every 3 weekes, if patient develop febrile or severe neutropenia , severe cutaneous reaction or severe perephral neohropathy reduce subsequent dose to 75mg/square meter in subsequent cycles or discontinue. Pretreat patient with dexamethasone 8mg twice daily for three days, starting one day prior to treatment


Children not recommended.
