Betamethasone+Neomycin Sulphate

Indications & Dose:

Inflammatory conditions where infection is present or suspected.


DOSE 
Adults & Children


2-3 drops in each nostril two or three times daily.


Nose Drops: Betamethasone sodium phosphate 0.1% w/v, neomycin sulphate 0.5% w/v

Contraindications:

Viral, fungal or tuberculous conditions.

Side Effects:

Corneal thinning, cataract, rise in intra-ocular pressure, sensitisation and cross resistance to neomycin; avoid unnecessary use.
