Indications & Dose:

Scabies. Pediculosis. Treat all family members in contact concurrently.


DOSE


Scabies: Apply to whole body surface below neck. Scrub baths after 12-24 hrs. If required one more application may be repeated after a weak.
Pediculosis: Message scalp with emulsion at night and cover with a piece of cloth. Following morning, head bath should be taken ensuring that medication does not enter eyes.

Side Effects:

As it is highly lipophilic dg, systemic absorption and toxicity may occur. The manifestations are convulsious, Vertigo, ataxia, tremor. Local skin irritation.

Cautions:

Pregnancy & breast-feeding: Use with caution.
Old age: May be used.

Drugs
Oil: Enhances absorp-tion of gama benzene hexachloride. Therefore avoid simultaneous applications of creams, ointment and oils.
