INDICATIONS & DOSE

Benign gastric & duodenal ulcer:

• BY MOUTH

Adults : Susp: 5-10ml 3 times per day.

Tablets; 2 tabs twice daily or 1 tab 4 times daily; taken for 28 days followed by further 28 days if necessary; maintenance not indi-cated but course may be repeated after interval of 1 month. Twice daily dosage to be taken 30 minutes before breakfast and main evening meal. Four times daily dosage to be taken as one dose 30 minutes before breakfast, midday meal and main evening meal and the fourth dose 2 hours after the main evening meal. Milk should not be taken during treatment.

As a part of H. pylori eradication regimen:

Adult:1 tab 4 times daily for 14 days.

 Children : Not recommended.

Contraindications:

Renal impairmant, pregnancy.

Side Effects:

It causes blackening of tongue and stools.

Cautions:

The product contains salicylate.

Breast-feeding: Use with caution.

Old age: May be used
