OTILONIUM BROMIDE

Indications & Dose:

Irritable colon and spastic painful conditions of the distal section of the intestinal tract.

Adult: 1 table of 40mg 2-3 times a day, at the physician’s discretion.

Contraindications:

Known hypersensitivity to the drug

Side Effects:

At therapeutic doses the drug does not cause side effects, nor does it cause atropine-like effects. Special Precautions for Use The drug should be used with caution in patients with glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy and pyloric stenosis. Use in Pregnancy and Lactation Although there have been no reports of embryotoxicity, teratogenic or mutagenic effects in animals, like all drugs, Spasmomen should only be given to pregnant women and nursing mothers if absolutely necessary and under close medical supervision
