| Introduction | It is a condition in which the orifice of the prepuce is so narrow that it can not be retracted behind the corona. It is usually congenital and is often associated with pinhole meatus. In adult, the phimomis may result from the acute or chronic inflammation of the lining of the prepuce or from carcinoma occuring on the undersurface of the pre-puce. In extreme example of congenital phimosis, when the patient micturates the prepuce balloons out first, and a thin, weak stream of urine follows. Difficulty of micturition with residual urine, hydro-ureters and hydronephrosis are rare. |
