| Introduction | Unlike hypospadias, epispadias is rare. It may be glandular, penile or both. In glandular or penile epispadius, the meatus is situated on the dorsal surface of the gland or of the penis respectively. Operative treatment is similar to that of hypospadias and is less difficult to perform. Routine circumcision must be avoided in both the cases (i.e hypospadias and epispadias). |
