Indications & Dose:

Rheumatic disease

Adult:

• BY MOUTH

20 mg daily.

Acute musculoskeletal disorders

BY MOUTH

20 mg daily for 7 days,; max. 14 days.

Gout treatment,

• BY MOUTH

2 tablet once daily for 2 days than one tab per day.

• BY INTRAVENOUS OR INTRAMUSCULAR INJECTION,

For initial treatment for 1-2 days as dose by mouth.

Children:

Not recommended.

Contraindications:

 NSAID induced allergy, active peptic ulcer or history of recurrent ulcer, GI bleeding, gastritis. Pregnancy.

Precautions:

 Impairment of hepatic or renal function, cardiac failure. Prolonged use.

BREAST-FEEDING: Safety not established.

OLD AGE: May be used in reduced dose.
