Anxiety states, hepatic cirrhosis, myasthenia gravis, phaeochromocytoma, thyroid neoplasia, CCF, atrial fibrillation, myocarditis, periearditis, rheumatic fever, psychoses

Phys:

Excessive release of thyroid hormones due to thy­roid hyperplasia (Graves' disease), adenomes, gbi­tre, ectopic thyroids or excessive- thyroid rnedida­tion. Produces exophthalmos, goitre, Verner, heat intolerance, sweating, palpitations, hyperactivity and emotional lability
