Sign:
Dyspnoea, raised jugular venous pressure, pleural rub, hypotension
Dd:
Myocardial infarct, bacterial pneumonia, asthma,pulmonary oedema, ,pericarditis, atelectasis, pneumothorax, aortic aneurysm, tumours, pleurisy, acute upper abdominal disease, chest trauma
Phys:
Due to blocking of small pulmonary arteries by detached thrombus or other foreign matter. May be caused by occult malignancy
